Well Alice is a huge inspiration for me in all areas of my life so I guess I had that in mind, conciously or not, when I found the background. =) EA is also an inspiration of mine, and I felt that my chosen picture for this post was very fitting. xxx
It is indeed. I felt rather silly choosing a font that had such a cutesy-Christmas feel, but I think that, name aside, it is rather fitting and certainly more interesting. But of course I cannot write any HTML so I really have to stick with the basics that Blogger provides me with. Thanks for you feedback! x
I think you live in Australia, too, don't you? If you like the choker, I think it was still in the shops last time I checked. It was at equip or diva or some other cheapish costume jewellery store like that but it looks way better than a lot of their stuff does. :)
Thanks Laura. It took me a moment to remember what you were talking about. I actually have a similar one that I found in Diva (hanging my head in shame) a few years ago, but you one is more elegant and simply I think. A lot of Diva stuff is total junk mind you. Is it just me or did they get bought out recently by a different company, essentially selling the same crap? xxx
Oh, I have no idea, lol. Occasionally they have something nice that looks like it was made by someone utterly different, but usually they are pretty bad, aren't they! :P Maybe they buy from a range of suppliers.
Oh, I love your Emilie Autumn picture, by the way. I am seeing her this year! So excited! This picture gives me some outfit inspiration! Although I want mine to be more of a gown. I am hoping to get good enough at sewing by then to make my own gown.
Thanks! I just found it on Tumblr. And I am seeing here next year too, I am so excited! I haven't seen EA live yet. But I haven't purchased a ticket yet. Good luck with the sewing! xxx
it's beautiful!
ReplyDeletereminds me of Emilie Autumn and/or Alice in Wonderland :3

ReplyDeleteYeah, I totally agree with Minxie. I'm digging the curly font too. Mountains of Christmas is the font, I'm assuming?
